Enrolment Process
Enrolments for the 2026 School Year: For students wishing to enrol for the current 2026 school year, please visit our Front Office in person. You will need to complete a physical 2026 enrolment form and submit all required supporting documents at the desk.
Enrolments for the 2027 School Year: Enrolments for the 2027 school year open on 4 May 2026. Please follow the steps below to complete your application. For assistance, please contact our Enrolment Officer at enrolment@kedgley.school.nz.
STEP 1: Check Your Zone
Please verify if your residential address falls within our school zone.
Step 2: Submit Your Application
You can apply using any of the three methods below.
Important: Your child cannot be registered until we have received the required supporting documents (listed in Step 3). These can be provided in person at the school office or sent by email to enrolment@kedgley.school.nz.
- Option 1: Complete the Online Enrolment Form. Once submitted, please email or bring your supporting documents to the school office.
- Option 2: Download the Enrolment Form, fill it out and email it with your documents to enrolment@kedgley.school.nz.
- Option 3: In Person: Bring a completed hardcopy enrolment form and documents to our front office.
Step 3: Required Documentation
Please note: We are not able to complete the enrolment process until we have received the following:
- NZ Birth Certificate or NZ Passport (if NZ citizen)
- Foreign Passport (if non-NZ citizen)
- NZ Residency Permit or NZ Student Visa/Permit (if non-NZ citizen and not already shown in passport)
- Proof of Address: Phone Bill, Electricity Bill, Rates Bill or Tenancy Agreement
- A statutory declaration if living with relative to state that student lives at that address (signed by Justice of Peace)
- A copy of court documents (if applicable)
Out of Zone Enrolment
All applications for enrolment from students who live Out of Zone will be processed in the following order of priority:
First priority will be given to applicants who are siblings of current students.
Second priority will be given to applicants who are siblings of former students.
Third priority will be given to applicants who are children of former students.
Fourth priority will be given to applicants who are either children of board employees or children of board members.
Fifth priority will be given to all other applicants.
If there are more applicants in the priority groups than there are places available, selection within the priority group will be by a ballot conducted in accordance with instructions issued by the Secretary of Education.

For OUT OF ZONE enrolments, please download and complete the Enrolment Form and bring to our school office with the required documents. Out of Zone enrolment applications close on 2 September 2026.
What are the equipment requirements?
Kedgley Intermediate is a Chromebook-driven school. To support your child’s learning, we strongly recommend that they have their own personal Chromebook. More details are available in our Prospectus.
Where can we find the Stationery List?
Stationery List for 2027 school year will be available in October.
Where can we purchase the school uniform?
Uniforms are available to purchase at NZ Uniform – Unit 5, 20 Lambie Drive, Manakau. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 9 am – 5 pm, and Saturday 9am – 4 pm. Phone Number is 09 950 6747.

When does school start?
First day of school for Year 8 students is on Thursday, 28th of January 2027 at 8:45am.
First day of school for Year 7 students is on Monday, 1st of February 2027 at 8.45am.
