Learning Assistant

​Permanent Position
Start Date: Term 1, 2026

We are looking for an enthusiastic and able Learning Assistant to join our friendly Team at Kedgley Intermediate School.

  • A minimum of one year’s experience working with learners with diverse needs (essential)
  • Completed Ministry of Education Physical Restraint Training
  • Certificate in Education Support or Basic Literacy and Numeracy skills
  • A positive, flexible attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • A genuine commitment to supporting student learning and wellbeing

Position Details:

  • Permanent, Part-Time (25 hours per week)
  • Conditions of employment and remuneration are in accordance with the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement
  • The successful applicant will be required to undergo a Police Vet check
