What streets are in zone?

How do I apply if I am in zone?

For IN ZONE enrolments, please download and complete the 2025 Enrolment Form (link below) and bring to our school office with the required documents, or complete the online enrolment form.. More information can found below on how to apply online.

How do I apply if I am out of zone?

For Out of Zone enrolment, please download and complete the 2025 Enrolment Form (link below) and bring to our school office with the required documents. Out of Zone enrolments close on 4 September 2024 at 11:59pm

What are the equipment requirements?

We are moving towards a chromebook driven school. This means to support your child’s learning, it will be to their benefit to have their own personal device (chromebooks). More information can be found in our Prospectus.

Where can we purchase the school uniform?

Uniforms are available to purchase at NZ Uniform – Unit 5, 20 Lambie Drive, Manakau. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 9 am – 5 pm, and Saturday 9am – 4 pm. Phone Number is 09 950 6747.

When does school start?

First day of school for Year 8 students is on Thursday, 30th of January 2025 at 8:45am.
First day of school for Year 7 students is on Monday, 3rd of February 2025 at 8.45am.

Enrolment Process

Please read the following which includes the information needed to prepare for enrolling at Kedgley Intermediate School. For more information, please contact the Office Administrator at enrolment@kedgley.school.nz.

Enrolments for 2025 open on 13th of May 2024.

In Zone Enrolment

For IN ZONE enrolments, either download and complete the 2025 Enrolment Form and bring to our school office with the required documents, or complete the online enrolment form and upload a digital copy of the required documents.

Documentation is a critical part of the enrolment process and enrolment will not be processed without the following:

  1. NZ Birth Certificate and/or NZ Passport if NZ citizen
  2. Passport with a valid student visa if not NZ citizen
  3. Proof of address (only a recent power account, phone bill or bank account will be accepted)
  4. If living with relatives, we require a statutory declaration to say that the student lives at that address signed by a Justice of the Peace or a letter from Work and Income New Zealand.

Out of Zone Enrolment

All applications for enrolment from students who live Out of Zone will be processed in the following order of priority:

First priority will be given to applicants who are siblings of current students.
Second priority will be given to applicants who are siblings of former students.
Third priority will be given to applicants who are children of former students.
Fourth priority will be given to applicants who are either children of board employees or children of board members.
Fifth priority will be given to all other applicants.

If there are more applicants in the priority groups than there are places available, selection within the priority group will be by a ballot conducted in accordance with instructions issued by the Secretary of Education.

IMPORTANT DATES:

In Zone & Out of Zone Enrolments Open:  13 May 2024
Out of Zone Applications Close: 4 September 2024 – NO EXCEPTIONS
Out of Zone Ballot Date:  11 September 2024
Parents advised of outcome:  16 September 2024
