Kakapo Fact Sheet

There are so few kakapo that they have all been given names.
Some of the names might make you laugh because they are a bit odd - like the name 'Gumboots' or 'Sinbad'.

This list was provided by DoC staff in August 2001.   Remember that the list may change if more kakapo are born or if a kakapo dies.
